These releases are essentially Press Releases relating to new Cord Set and Power Cord components such as Connectors, Molded Plugs, Receptacles, and Molded Cable Clamps. They are meant to give advanced notice of new products relating to Power, Data, Communications and Coax Cable interconnection devices. All PDRs will be incorporated into the product line in time.

P/N: 808F MOLDED RECPT - This product has a familiar shape found on other heater type products. It is a 2 female contact molded (PVC) receptacle accommodating a .109 dia. male pin. The contacts are on .375 centers. It has a longer molded strain relief to increase cable flex life. It can be used on 125 or less voltage. A male mate will be released shortly. UUI has released a new cord clip design that can be added to any standard cord set. The clip is a separate molded (pvc) piece that simply slides over the cable. It is used most commonly to attach the end of the cord plus to the cord bundle for neat storage and good housekeeping. The cord clip can be moved to any point on the cord and snapped in place giving the user more options than the traditional cord clips that actually are part of the molded plug. The clip can be added as an after thought to solve a specific design concern or fixed to the cable at any desired location. Samples Are Available Request Code 42705.
